Indigent residents must submit a request to their Unit Case Manager for additional hygiene items. If you have a zero balance on your resident account for a period of two (2) weeks or more, you will receive an indigent hygiene packet that will consist of (1), pair of socks, (1) toothbrush, (1) tube of toothpaste, (1) deodorant, (1) shampoo, (1) stamped envelope, (2) pieces of paper. Black slipon shoes that are damaged will be replaced only if an resident is indigent for three (3) weeks. Indigent residents can request tennis shoes and they will be provided on a case-by-case, as needed basis.
