What stays on your device, what is sent to Anthropic when you use AI, and how to clear your data.

The short versionThere are no accounts, no ads and no tracking. Most of what you do stays on your device. When you use an AI feature, what you type is sent to Anthropic to write the answer, so please leave out names, numbers, health details and anything about a case.What stays on your deviceThese are saved in this browser only, and nobody else can see them:

Clearing your dataThe Clear my data button at the bottom of every page removes all of it from this device. On a shared or public device, please use it when you are done.What leaves your device

AI features: what you type, with the handbook passages that relate to it, goes through our server to Anthropic, which writes the response. Our server does not save what you type. Anthropic handles it under its own terms and privacy policy.

Speaking instead of typing: when you use the microphone, your browser’s speech service turns your voice into text. Depending on the browser, that service may be run by Google or Apple.

Hosting: the site runs on Vercel, which keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address and time, to run and protect the service. Our server also uses your IP address for about a minute to limit how many AI requests can be made.

Other services: the pages load fonts from Google Fonts and audio from our audio host. The map on the Location page comes from Google Maps, and the letter templates open in Google Docs. Google’s terms apply when you use them.

What we don’t doWe don’t sell or share information, show ads, or use analytics or tracking cookies. We don’t send anything to the facility or to St. Louis County.This page works best with JavaScript turned on. Every page:
