Rules of conduct have been developed which specify acts prohibited within the facility and sanctions that will be imposed for various violations. The rules contained in this handbook will be enforced by staff and must be obeyed by you. The rules are divided into two (2) categories, depending on the seriousness of the violation. When a resident is accused of an act violating criminal law, it will be referred to the Clayton Police Department or other appropriate law enforcement authorities for consideration for prosecution. Such a violation will also be dealt with under institutional disciplinary policy.
