After being placed in a housing unit, a Unit Case Manager will meet with you to complete your initial treatment plan. Due to the importance of this information, it is essential that you cooperate with the Case Manager. Have information, questions, and requests ready to be discussed. You and your Case Manager will: a. Review classification status b. Complete a "Needs Assessment" c. Develop and recommend your treatment plan to the program staff. You are encouraged to participate in work assignments, educational classes, self-help programs and other services to help develop necessary skills. You and your Case Manager will assess your needs and determine the goal(s) and objectives for your treatment plan. You will work with your Unit Case Manager to develop a plan that is mutually agreeable. Participation in all programs and services will be voluntary for pre-trial residents unless court ordered. Failure of sentenced residents to participate could result in a loss of privileges and possible decrease in the amount of "Good Time" credit earned. Participation in programs and services will demonstrate a true effort in achieving the goals outlined in the treatment plan. You may be eligible for additional privileges as approved by your Unit Management Team. HOUSING
